What We Do
Individual judges are limited in participation in a project by conflicts checks and availability with their law firms. Judge Sessions is available for all forms of Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR), moot courts and training activities.
Our Group will assign a Project Team of two or three members (Consultants or Business Advisors) . Each team will be tailored to the specific corporate, political, or legal situation. After briefings and review of the issues involved, the team will give its independent and expert judgment on the matter, to include the following:
LITIGATION SERVICES
Assessment of proposed litigation strategies and potential options;
Realistic Moot Court services for Federal and state court proceedings;
Selected dispute resolution services.
CORPORATE SERVICES
Legal due diligence advisor to Corporate Counsels on litigation decisions ("litigate or settle"), ethics decisions, and disclosure issues (whether to disclose and how);
Outside ethics advisor to the CEO or to the Board of Directors for a limited number of major corporations on a retainer basis;
Advisor to a CEO or to a committee of a Board on a special project or investigation;
Crisis management;
Guidance for corporations undergoing criminal or securities investigations on the steps to successfully comply with the investigation and to rehabilitate the corporation;
Review of due diligence in foreign investment projects by obtaining insight from key government officials in the country involved;
Confidential consultations to a Board on political, ethical, or conflict of interest issues;
Presentations at corporate board meetings on the general subjects of conflicts of interest, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other director liability situations.
OTHER SERVICES
Liaison with government agencies, both foreign and domestic;
Advise Foreign Missions, Embassies, and foreign corporations in the USA on a retainer basis;
